Public Protest over AUKUS in Brisbane

Public Protest for Peace and against AUKUS – the expanding US military base in Australia :

– Hand out flyers (see attached, and below)
– hold banners
– Take “no-nuclear subs base in Brisbane” Petition around for signatures
– staff a stall of information on our campaign.

B2 bombers now at Amberly RAF base

East Coast nuclear submarine base site not yet announced but $10B set aside to build, perhaps in the Brisbane region.

Bring your banners and stand together declaring we oppose nuclear submarines and aircraft on our territory.
We stand for addressing climate change and for the Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons to be signed by our government.
