New App exposes the real impacts of WWI on Australian people

The World War 1 Stories App has a number of audio stories – with the voices of people who served in World War 1, or family members of people who served – talking about WWI and its effects; showing the trauma, cost, horror, futility of war; In addition there are 16 text stories of Cent Australians who served in the war. 

 The project broadly aims to encourage critical thinking about past wars and alternatives to war in resolving human conflicts; and to increase public awareness of the experiences of soldiers who fought in World War 1 and the enormous human cost of World War I, and to enhance the experience of visitors to Anzac Hill in Alice Springs.

The World War 1 Stories App is available on android and apple devices and devices throughout all of Australia and New Zealand.
