The People’s Inquiry was launched by IPAN in January of 2021 and thanks to over 280 amazing submissions from the Australian public we now have put out the Interim Report in anticipation of the final report.

The aim of the Inquiry is to start a conversation and engage the public in imagining what an independent and peaceful foreign policy would look like.

Already we are seeing recurring issues, such as U.S. bases, military spending, the War on Terror and conflict’s link to climate change, indicating significant opposition to the current foreign policy framework.

You can read the submissions on the Inquiry’s website and read the Interim Report here.
